2021 Ford Bronco Looks Best Fully Kitted
The Bronco Overland concept, a four-door Badlands model fitted with 17-inch Fifteen52 wheels and a rooftop tent, previews what Broncos will look like once owners customize them.
- Ford just revealed the 2021 Bronco Overland concept, which is built on a four-door Badlands model.
- It has 17-inch Fifteen52 wheels wrapped in 35-inch mud-terrain tires, a Yakima rooftop tent, and an ARB fridge in the back.
- The four-door Bronco starts at $34,695 and will go on sale in the spring.
Most of the 2021 Ford Broncos we've seen (and we're not complaining about this) have been equipped with the off-road-focused Sasquatch package along with all sorts of sweet accessories to make them look badass. However, Ford's head of communications, Mike Levine, tweeted a photo yesterday of all six 2021 Bronco models, and it's safe to say that the base model looks like Steve Rogers before he becomes Captain America.
The latest beefed-up Bronco that Ford is touting is the Bronco Overland concept, which previews what the new Bronco will look like once people slap on a new set of wheels and strap on a rooftop tent, and it's making us want to ditch life as we know it and get off the grid.
The Bronco Overland concept, which is debuting today at an event called Bronco Super Celebration East in Tennessee, is built on the highly capable Badlands model painted in the gorgeous Area 51 Blue. It's equipped with the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS), a 270-hp 2.3-liter inline-four and seven-speed manual transmission (which is now available on the Sasquatch package), and 17-inch Fifteen52 Turbomatic wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires.
It's also equipped with some factory-backed accessories (Ford says there are hundreds available) including a Warn winch mounted to a Ford Performance modular steel bumper and a tall CB antenna mounted to the rear bumper. Up top is a Yakima two-person tent mounted to a factory roof rack, which also has a 1x40 Rigid light bar and six additional Rigid pod lights mounted to it. Open the trunk, and there's a full camp kitchen mounted to a cargo system including a pull-out ARB refrigerator, cooking kit, and stove.
The 2021 Ford Bronco hasn't even reached customers yet and won't until next year, but thanks to Ford we're getting a preview of what they'll look like once off-roaders and overlanders get their hands on them. The two-door Bronco starts at $29,995 with the four-door model starting at $34,695.
