2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 Add Super Cruise

The Cadillac sedans will now offer Super Cruise with automated lane change and add several other tech features, with base prices up a few hundred dollars.

  • The 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 will offer Super Cruise for the first time and get small price hikes for this coming model year.
  • The CT4 and CT5 get other small updates, such as an optional 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster.
  • The two sedans will arrive at dealerships this fall.

Super Cruise is finally making its way across Cadillac's lineup after it was first made available in 2017 on the now discontinued CT6. For 2021, the CT4and CT5 will offer Super Cruise with automated highway lane changing, alongside several other tech updates and a price hike of up to $400 across the sedans' four trim levels.

The 2021 CT4 will start at $34,390, a $400 jump from the outgoing model year, and the CT5 will start at $37,990, a price hike of $100 compared to last year. The CT4 V-Series also sees a $400 jump, the biggest among all four trims, while on the CT5, no trim sees a price increase of more than $100.

New for 2021, both sedans will offer Super Cruise, GM's hands-free advanced driver-assist system, on Premium Luxury and V-Series models beginning early next year. The recently updated system comes with automated lane changing, which allows drivers to make highway lane changes by tapping the turn signal. Currently, Super Cruise is the only high-speed driver-assist system on the market designed for hands-free driving.

The CT4 and CT5 will also now offer a 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster and come standard with Cadillac's Buckle to Drive system, which prevents the car being put into drive until the driver's seatbelt is fastened. Both sedans will also offer a new appearance package, Diamond Sky, which is available on the Premium luxury trim, and adds alloy wheels and Brembo V Performance front brakes.

The 2021 CT4 and CT5 are slated to reach dealerships this fall.
